What is a direct service career?

 

 

Direct Service Careers provide quality support and care to infants, children, and adults with:
developmental disabilities,
mental illness,
chronic alcoholism or substance abuse issues, or
Alzheimer's or related dementias.
Careers are also available working with someone who has a brain injury, the elderly, and individuals with co-occurring disorders.
The purpose of all Direct Service opportunities is to empower individuals and to help them live a healthy and happy life.
